The WeatherXM Solar Power Kit is a rugged, self-sustaining solar battery system designed to keep your WeatherXM station operating reliably in remote and extreme environments without the need to ever replace batteries.

We designed it after having our stations die in the middle of winter and brave the elements to climb onto the icy roof and replace batteries. With the Solar Power Kit you will never have to worry about replacing batteries again. If the sun were to go out, the Solar Power Kit would power your weather station for another 270 days. 

Unlike the AA battery expander that ships with all WeatherXM stations, the PES uses high-capacity Li-Ion battery cells, efficient solar charging, and advanced cold-weather management to provide year-round, maintenance-free operation even through cold winters and cloudy seasons.
